John 19:17-18, “So they took Jesus, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha. There they crucified Him.” The church always begins its prayer with a sign of the cross. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen. Some people do like this. That’s not the sign of the cross. We see Jesus hanging on the cross. So that’s why we say, “In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” And whenever we do that, it should remind us of Jesus hanging on the cross. The cross with which He saved us is a sign of salvation, the sign of love.
