If you want to know something new about death, keep watching. You see, the concept of death was there right from the beginning. Don’t eat the forbidden fruit. If you do, you will die. And death came. So, Adam brought in the death given to him by Eve and the serpent. And the serpent does everything he can, even these days, to bring about the death of people. Adam’s disobedience ushered in death. As the Bible states, ‘Through one man, sin came and death.’ But there is hope. ‘Through another Man, the forgiveness of sin and the resurrection.’ That Man is Christ. Disobedience leads to death, but obedience, as demonstrated by Christ, leads to life. His obedience to the Father brought us back to life, offering us redemption.
