Hey, are you a good listener? This one is for you. So, praying is the first thing somebody decides when entering religious life. As you pray, you seek advice. Don’t keep it to yourself. I repeat, don’t keep it to yourself. Samuel, he had this call. He wasn’t sure, but he thought he was guessing. “Maybe it is Eli.” Eli told Samuel, saying, “Speak, Lord; your servant is listening.” And that’s when we pray, asking the Lord what you want of me. Are you calling me to this life? So, if you are guessing that the Lord is calling you, go to those who can direct you. And when you’re seeking advice, seek advice from those who know. And when they give you the advice, you follow it. Keep praying and asking for discernment, and things may be more straightforward. Follow the direction of the Holy Spirit. Now, start praying.

The Sign of the Cross
John 19:17-18, “So they took Jesus, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.
