You may have noticed before on a street corner, on a college campus, or at a sports game, someone holding up a big sign that says, “John 3:16.” Well, that’s our gospel for this Sunday. We all know this gospel. “For God’s so loved the world that he gave his only son.” This is the ultimate mic drop that the entirety of the gospels is rolled up into this one passage. There will come a moment in our lives when we realize, I keep failing, I keep falling short, I can’t do it on my own anymore.
And so the reality is you have a savior; you can be lifted. The beauty of the gospel this Sunday shouts to our hearts, saying, “You don’t have to do it on your own. You have a savior.” The people on the street corners holding up those signs might not be normal, but it is true.

What If

We wouldn’t have the sacraments. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift would never have met. But seriously, Jesus Christ stakes everything, all of salvation, on the mere chance that Peter would say yes and stay with Him. That’s how important…

Jesus Stays The Same

It is a new year, and AI hasn’t conquered us yet. But we always fear that we have no clue what will happen in this new year. Crazy things may happen, heartbreaking things may happen, amazing things may happen, but guess what? Jesus stays…

The Most Important Position
So it’s about time we talked about Quidditch, which is obviously a real sport. If this makes no sense, stay with me. In the second reading for this Sunday…
