“My Life with the Walter Boys,” “Vampire Diaries,” “Twilight,” “Stranger Things,” and “Outer Banks,” what do all of these things have in common? Love triangles. And not the most wholesome love triangles. Today, we celebrate the solemnity of the most blessed Trinity, the most perfect, epic love triangle, the love relationship between the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is what we desire. We want that perfect love. I’m sure many of us have amazing relationships, but they are not perfect or flawed.
We look to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to know how to love ourselves. At the end of the gospel for this Sunday, Jesus promised, “Behold, I am with you until the end of the age.” That’s the greatest news ever. This perfect relationship of love is with us always. And guess what? Jesus, He doesn’t lie. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

Don’t Hoard Your Gifts
This Sunday’s Gospel is about the rich man who accumulates all of this wealth. But he hoards them; he doesn’t give anything away. We are called as Christians to do the opposite. We have accumulated so many skills. The question is, do we hoard it or do we give it away in love? I think a great example of this is Eleven from Stranger Things…

Don’t Say Whatever, Say Amen
I’ve been to many weddings recently. Love is in the air. At one wedding, a man came into the church wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. The best man approached him and said, “Dude, you can’t be here like this.” And the friend responded, “Whatever, man.” In the Gospel, for this Sunday, a wedding guest is not wearing his wedding garment. He’s saying to the whole wedding party…
