Merry Christmas, everyone. Merry Christmas, y’all. Merry Christmas, mom. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown. This day is a day of intimacy that the Incarnation is all about intimacy. It’s God literally becoming flesh, becoming one of us, so that we can love Him, we can know Him, and we can live with Him forever. There is no greater love story than the Incarnation. There is no greater love story than the Pascal Mystery. This is the intimacy that God desires with you. And not only that, when you go to mass today, God becomes flesh again so that you can receive Him, you can receive His heart. Are you willing to respond in intimacy with Him? Are you willing to open up your heart because He has opened up His heart for you? He’s opened up His side for you, and so will you open up your heart for Him? Blessed Christmas to all of you.

What If

We wouldn’t have the sacraments. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift would never have met. But seriously, Jesus Christ stakes everything, all of salvation, on the mere chance that Peter would say yes and stay with Him. That’s how important…

Convicted About Jesus
Last year, in a faraway magical land known as Italia. A study figured out what month the average Italian gives up on their New Year’s resolution. And you may have guessed it, it’s February. If you didn’t know, February is one month after January. That’s not much time. The realization is that we want to follow through on things; we don’t want to give up. But the problem is that we are not convicted enough to be able to…

Don’t Hoard Your Gifts
This Sunday’s Gospel is about the rich man who accumulates all of this wealth. But he hoards them; he doesn’t give anything away. We are called as Christians to do the opposite. We have accumulated so many skills. The question is, do we hoard it or do we give it away in love? I think a great example of this is Eleven from Stranger Things…
