There is a problem. And that problem is distracted walking. In 2022, thousands of people were injured, texting and walking simultaneously, more than a grizzly bear, shark, and alligator attacks all wrapped into one. In the gospel today, St. Peter himself is distracted by the storm. And when he is distracted by the storm and takes his eyes away from Jesus, he begins to sink. He is experiencing fear and he is experiencing anxiety. But as soon as St. Peter brings his eyes back to Jesus, he feels safe, free, and able to walk toward the Lord. As soon as we keep our eyes on Jesus, that brings us peace and freedom. So if you want to live a life of fear and death, distract yourself. But if you live a life of love, peace, and freedom, keep your eyes on Jesus. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

Let’s Share Our Desires with Jesus

Sharing all of this with me, I just asked him simply, “Have you seen any reciprocation on her part? Do you think she likes you?” And he responded very honestly, “Uh, I haven’t even hung out with her yet.” Okay, so here we go. This is…
