A couple of weeks ago, a student approached me after mass and told me, “Hey, Father, you’re homily today. It has many overly complicated words. Next time, make it simpler.” And then they left, and then I cried myself to sleep. A lot of the time, we overcomplicate things. All we have to do is make things simple. This is precisely what the apostles do in the gospel for this Sunday. Jesus told the apostles, “I will be handed over to men. I will be killed, and in three days, I will rise from the dead.” The apostles try to find some deeper hidden meaning in it, and they lose the reality of it. So, we always do this with Jesus and His will and love for us. But Jesus speaks to us very simply, clearly, and lovingly. In your prayer, be convinced that Jesus is simple. He is clear. He is gentle with us. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

Tony Stark feels betrayed by Captain America. Even though Captain America doesn’t do anything against Tony Stark, Tony Stark still feels betrayed, and it’s justified. The gospel for this Sunday. Jesus says, “Amen, I say to you, what you did not…

God’s Radiating Love
This has got bad news written all over it. If you have ever seen “Chernobyl,” “Godzilla,” or “The Simpsons,” you know that radiation is silent. You don’t feel anything, and it can change you. Similarly, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is just like that, only it gives you life and doesn’t kill you. When we go to adoration, it is silent. We don’t feel anything, but it is super…

Blessed Lent 2024
Okay, guys, this is it. It is happening. Lent 2024. It is finally here, and this will be the best lent ever for us. Jesus says in the gospel today, “Repent and believe in the gospel.” We are called to believe the gospel. CS Lewis, an absolute spiritual savage, said, “You should never believe anything unless you think it’s true.” And so the amazing reality is that…
