Did you know that the sun is 400 times larger than the moon? It may not look like it, but it’s true. Did you know that a typical cloud in the sky weighs 1.1 million pounds? It may not look like it, but it’s true. Did you know that Jesus is Lord and God to his people as he is dying on the cross? It may not look like it, but it’s true. And in the gospel for the Sunday, Jesus Christ gives us his flesh to eat, his blood to drink, his body, blood, soul, and divinity in the Eucharist. It may not look like it, but it’s true. We all have this Jesus-shaped hole in our hearts that yearns for the truth.
So when you feel that ache in your heart for something more, that’s usually Jesus knocking on your heart, saying it’s all true. Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church, the most holy Eucharist—these are all true things. And that will satisfy the Jesus-shaped hole in our hearts. This is Spirit juice, peace.

Sharing all of this with me, I just asked him simply, “Have you seen any reciprocation on her part? Do you think she likes you?” And he responded very honestly, “Uh, I haven’t even hung out with her yet.” Okay, so here we go. This is…
