Okay, so this is a very solemn day, this is a very somber day. It’s Good Friday. If you have the opportunity to go to your Good Friday service at your parish, the first thing that you will see is the priest lying prostrate on the ground. It’s a sign of reverence, it’s a sign of adoration, but it’s also a sign of vulnerability. On Good Friday, Jesus becomes vulnerable for us. He opens himself up to suffering. He opens himself up to pain, rejection, and to death. He does this all for you and all out of love. When we are vulnerable, it reveals our love. It reveals what we’re willing to do to love. So my invitation is that today is the day if you have never been vulnerable with Jesus. Open up your heart, and become vulnerable with him. Share all of your sufferings, your hurts, and the things that have been weighing you down so that he can begin to transform those things just as he transformed the cross. But guess what?
Good Friday is not the end.

Let’s Share Our Desires with Jesus

Do you think she likes you?” And he responded very honestly, “Uh, I haven’t even hung out with her yet.” Okay, so here we go. This is…

Holy Thursday

And tonight, on Holy Thursday night, Jesus and the Eucharist are taken out of all the tabernacles in all churches and placed in a special place in the church. Tonight, Jesus goes from the Last Supper to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray with His apostles. And He asks…

Reject the Squidward Within
There is this guy. You may know him, you may not. His name is Squidward Tentacles. Squidward Tentacles is incredibly negative. He is constantly judging, and he is always finding fault in others. He is not a fun person to be around. The thing is, we can do that as well. We are so attracted to negativity. We’re drawn to crazy comments on social media…
