Have you ever been away from home for a long time? And then you finally get back home, and suddenly, you walk into your house, and all of the fears, anxieties, and worries dissolve, and you feel safe. It’s amazing. And this Sunday, we celebrate the ascension, which is Jesus Christ going back home. The crazy thing is that this is not just for Jesus. This is for us. We one day will be called back home.
We get to be in a perfect love relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All of us have that God-shaped hole in our hearts that cannot be filled by anything other than God. We try to fill the God-shaped hole with so many things. This is incredible news. Jesus Christ wants this for us. Not only do we get to go back home, but we also get back home forever. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.
