Alleluia.
That’s our cry of victory. That’s a proclamation of faith, not in some nice story, but in the reality of Jesus Christ, who’s risen from the dead. “Brothers and sisters, may the Lord give you his peace.” Those are the first words out of Jesus’s mouth when he enters into the room with the disciples after he’s resurrected from the dead, and finds the 11 behind locked doors.
Those are the words that I want to start this series with. “May the Lord give you his peace.” It was a greeting that St. Francis of Assisi would use as he began preaching, and it’s the words of our Lord. A peace that the world cannot give. The peace that comes from the presence of the risen Lord, but here today, and there’s just one word, really. This burning inside and wants to come out, and I’ve been waiting to say it for the last 40 days.
Alleluia.

The Word Became Flesh
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Finally the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. What does that really mean? When Jesus says that we’re gonna know him, we’re gonna see him, and that he’s gonna be with us always, how does he come? He comes to poverty, waiting in the poor, maybe in the…

I Want to Know That Story
What is your story? Have you heard the story of the prodigal son? At some point in our lives, there’s a time when we rejected the love of the Father, some of us came back, some of us didn’t while some are still lost and are still finding their way. But in the end of it all. There’s a Father that is waiting not to condemn us, but save us. He who is…
